Ten Things Thursday!

1.  Followed the guide lines my new life coach gave me yesterday.

2.  I did have a glass and a half of wine last night....I feel groggy this morning...blech

3.  5:50 the alarm went off - going road riding then to yoga....
Its 6:11 now and I want to go back to bed

4.  Yesterday I ran into the mother of the girl I was talking about with the high blood pressure...she said the girl is better but has to take meds and loose weight - the weight is the main reason she had the problem in the first place - no symptoms, it was discovered at a routine check up.  I told her if her daughter wanted to get active and learn to mountain bike I would love to take her anytime.  Mission Accomplished.

5.  Mo is still away....its my last day on my own...I'll be watching flipping out tonight..I love me some Jeff Lewis!

6.  Work is busy....thats a great thing

7.  Planning a girls getaway to nyc on monday-tues.  Yay!

8.  I will not go back to bed - I will search out some warm bike clothes and get my ass out of the house under the cover of dark and push some miles....

9. Gwyenth Paltrow is an inspiration and all of US who bitch that skinny people have it easy. I need to remember that its not always genes:  I love this quote: The reason that I can be 38 and have two kids and wear a bikini is because I work my [expletive] ass off. It’s not an accident. It’s not luck, it’s not fairy dust, it’s not good genes. It’s killing myself for an hour and a half five days a week, but what I get out of it is relative to what I put into it. That’s what I try to do in all areas of my life.”

10 - Gotta get on the bike - have a kick ass day - and drink your water....she says to herself!

  1. oh my I love #9 that is truly fact!
