1. Yesterday was painful - put I went to the gym at 7am and worked out like a boss
2. Its was also the first day of Spring so a post work MTB ride was a must - short and sweet but that's working out 2x in one day - epic.
3. My cravings are gone. :)
4. Haven't been dysfunctional with food in over 10 days. :)
5. Roll on Spring
6. Its amazing how many of us are on the same trip these days - with the regain and recommitting.
7. It seems like its mostly bandsters that struggle with this - any Sleevers out there struggle with re-gain?
8. Life is good
9. Life is good
10. I am Blessed
8, 9, and 10 are my favorites :) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI don't struggle with re-gain, but I do struggle with my food choices. So we can all get off track. I have a 10 lb window that I like to stay within (175-185), I'm currently at 170. But the moment the scale even looks like it is going to say 180 I lose it.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm on the same trip...trying to get back on track with my nutrition and my fitness. I'm even thinking of joining a gym and I hate the gym. But the closest Bikram yoga studio is over 1.5 hours away...and that ain't gonna happen.
I'm glad you are doing so well.
There is a lot of us that are coming back. I love it! It's that time of year!
ReplyDeleteHell girl. Even though I haven't had WLS, I regain like a mother. It's all part of life i think. What's important is you keep at it!

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, sleever-regain-regret here. Even though I understand regain is pretty normal no matter what surgery you had it's still hard to admit that I regained about 20-25lbs from April 2012-Jan 2013. Even sadder to admit I'm mostly in the same weight that I was back in Jan 2013. So I guess if I want to put a positive spin on it, I'm happy I never regained more, but dangit my body seems happy at the "new higher" weight. Grrrrr! But I love how you ended your TTT Friday edition!
ReplyDeleteI'm a RNYer struggling with regain. I put on 30 pounds...wtf?!? Working with a trainer...just want to be stronger. Frustrated with the number, but for now, it is what it is. I am still healthy and hopefully with more muscle mass, I will be happier with where I am. We'll see. Sugar is my crack/heroin/devil. One day at a time. :-)
