Its been a long week. I feel like its been nonstop running around. Yesterday I made the effort and ran 2.5 miles in the morning just in case my day got away from me.
My day wrapped up early enough so I went for a MTB ride in the foggy rainy twilight - with my lights - first nite ride of the year.
It occurred to me when I was on the trail that in that moment I was the most myself, most comfortable and most free. I can not stress enough how important it is for anyone trying to become and remain healthy to find an activity you can do that brings joy to your life (and burns calories too). Yes, I know that I still have to strength train and occasionally run or dreadmill it but the end game is to make myself stronger on the bike so I can enjoy it more.
I will continue to make it a priority even though its hard as hell to get up in the dark and get home in the dark and still get my ass on the bike or out for a run.
Food update ~ not been great, but my band is really tight so the damage is minimal ... stress=tight. That's much better than stress=downing a family size bag of Reece's cups....damn you Halloween candy!

Happy 10 years!!! I would love to go pumpkin picking in a place that has seasons - such as fall - as opposed to 100 degree weather... So I love that option :) and wine tasting.... LOL on taco bell!! I love it but get sick every time (pre and post band)
