Blogging Every Day ~ Day 21 ~a Rant

Today's Topic ~ Rant about something.  Get up on your soapbox and tell us how you really feel (a pet peeve, a current event, a controversial topic, something someone does that really ticks you off)

Wow - finally permission get out my soap box and rant away!

Is this thing on?  Ok here goes:

1. Buying dogs and pets....WTF!  There are millions of loving rescues that need homes. Its madness that in  this day and age people are still purchasing dogs from puppy mills, I mean pet stores.
Nothing is as cute as a mutt!  Seriously it is beyond me.

2. Legalizing Ganja, the weed, herb, marijuana - Why is this a huge deal?  I personally do not partake in the hippy lettuce but I have few people in my life who use it to curb anxiety and some other ailments - including cancer.  I know that its legal in some states - go Colorado and Washington!  But not here in NY.  If it were legal the state could collect taxes and save money legal fees.

3. Legalizing gay marriage...- Ok its finally legal here in NY...so I've got less rant power behind that one... but love is love and its not a decision....if it were a decision, can you recall the day you decided you wanted to be straight?  yeah..me either. 

4. Skinny people that can eat french fries and have only on girl scout cookie and let the box sit for weeks only have one cookie a day...not sure that is rant worthy but its annoying.

5.  Close talkers and standers....Not sure if its a NYC thing but it seems like when its summer time all the visitors are all on top of each other - and me when I'm waiting on line...WTF man - back up off my personal space bubble

6.  Verizon Wireless...seriously I can't handle them...I just got a random bill for 300 bucks for canceling something..that I never did...Man, you are a big company - get your SH together - I would dump you but AT&T is worse.

7.  Enough ranting ..its putting me in a bad mood.
Happy Monday and focus on the goodness.  Happiness is a choice!

    #1-OMG truth girl. Well 2&3 to but no one speaks directly to me. I will never buy a dog. Not when I see what joy my babies have given me. Ps, love the pics of Sammy and Ed! They truly are some of my favorite virtual niece and nephews!!

    P.S. 'Same Love' by Macklemore is the #1 song in my area right now. And although I know NC has a terrible track record, I think this says great things about the mindset in the city I live in. Thankful to be in such a great area!

    We are totally in sync on 1, 2, and 3. 6- Ugh, nothing is worse then Verizon business to deal with.
    5- well, I have no concept of personal space so I am one of the annoying ones. Sorry.
